Today i drove the crows
turned around and dove
my friend
hungry homeless god bless
give me all the rest
left overs unspun lovers
give me all your money,
motherfucker

sunday, baby, saturday
ditch-dead hobo dreams
haikus - half a beer case
black and blue
sometimes i just ask myself
what would, had i hadn't you?
what would? too late
gone throughout you

box of chocolates, my breath
life-death
box of chocolates, my breath
for TJB
don't die on me

Thank you for suggesting so, very much.

The two lines,

give me all your money,
motherfucker

were definitely intended to be the crux of the piece

Have been reading your poems which I found in Tristan's journal. This one has a sadness that echoes through the verse.
'ditch-dead hobo dreams' really was the key to understanding this piece:rose:

I'm so glad to hear it.  Tristan was extremely kind to get that journal together.
Again, it makes me so happy you actually took the time to grasp some kind of emotional backbone within my work.

Was so pleased to be included in journal and did enjoy all the features. Might be wrong but I feel there is a  key to abstract verse, just a few lines/words that reveal the poets intention and  poem then moves beyond its abstract nature. Occasionally I have tried to write in this manner, never successfully so I appreciate how difficult it is:rose:

That was very informative, my friend. I felt like I knew your friend, TJB. I am not sure what is happening, but I give you my prayers.

Thank you, friend. We found him, crack-binging though he may be, he's not dead. And thank you for your prayers, that means a lot.
